If you have already spent and enjoyed a couple of days in Leh-Ladakh, don't hesitate to move to what lies just close by. There's more of trekking, sightseeing and wildlife. Useful Tips

• Apart from the originals, multiple copy of your passport, travel visas, airline tickets and travel documents.
• Keep a list of credit cards you are carrying.
• If you have an International Driving License, bring your driver's license with photo for identification.
• Do your special Travel insurance
• Avoid drinking water from an unknown source. Go for packed mineral water. Bring water purifying tablets.
• Use hotel lock boxes to keep your travel documents safe.
• Never leave your luggage, briefcase or other items unattended.
• Do carry sunglasses, sunscreen, cream, your medicines, food and film reel with you.
• Change currency only from official moneychangers. Ask for exchange receipts after each transaction.
• If ever you land in trouble, contact your Embassy and nearest Police Station.
