Day 01 : Leh

Leh-Ladakh is a mysterious land, forbidding by any measure. This mysterious
"land of passes" is dear abode for several hardy animals and
birds. It also boasts rare high mountain foliage. Yak, Nyan, Urial, Black
Necked Crane, Ibex are some rare spices of wildlife which you will see
during your trip. Arrive at Leh. Meet and greet at the Leh Airport by your
travel manager. Transfer to your hotel. Get a short briefing about your
trekking trip. Know do's and don't of trekking from your trekking guide.
Enjoy a welcome dinner with your new group mates. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Leh
Let us take you to a full day city tour of Leh which will include Shey
Palace, Stok Palace, Thiksey Monastery, RI - Dzong etc. Treat yourself with
great traditional Tibetan cuisine. Post lunch enjoy a short excursion, which
will lead you to the places like Hemis Monastery, Lamayuru Monastery etc.
Return to your hotel at night. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Leh
Have a period of relaxation and prepare yourself for the upcoming arduous
trekking trip. Evening explore colorful city market of your own. Gather some
souvenir. Nightstay.
Day 04 : Leh - Spituk- Zinchen
After breakfast a jeep drive will take you to Spituk village, from there
you will start your 5 hours long trekking. Meet your crew members and have
your lunch. Later enjoy an easy walk to Zinchen village. Overnight at camp
Day 05 : Zinchen -Rumbak (12,793ft/3,900m)
Enjoy 5 to 6 hours long gradual climb from Zinchen to Rumbak valley. Follow
the trail beside the river until the valley widens at Rumbak. Enjoy the
picturesque view of the Rumbak valley. Nightstay at trekking base.
Day 06 to 10 : Rumbak Valley
Explore wildlife in Rumbak Valley. If you are lucky enough then you might
spot a snow leopard here. Apart form this royal beast you can also find here
the bharal or blue sheep, wolf, Himalayan fox, marmots Urial and Shapu etc.
Nightstay at camp.
Day 11 : Rumbak Valley- Shingo

From
Rumbak you will ascend to Gnadla. Have your lunch and relax. Post lunch you
will enjoy an easy descent to Shingo. This whole trekking will take around 4
to 5 hour. Nightlong stay.
Day 12 : Shingo - Skiu
From Shingo you will proceed for Skiu. Today you will cross 5 hours long
trekking trail. Amidst the breathtaking gorges and natural vistas you will
trek. This pleasurable easy trail will lead you to Skiu. Accommodate
yourself for the night in your camp.
Day 13 : Shingo- Markha [3800 m]
Immediately after breakfast you will proceed for your days trekking voyage.
Today you will complete your trekking route by following the route parallel
to Markha River. On the way you will enjoy an awesome visual treat offered
by lush vegetation, stunning flora and fauna. After 6-7 hours of trekking
you will reach in Markha. Nightstay.
Day 14 to 16 : Markha Valley
In the South of Indus Valley, Markha Valley is lying. It is located between
Stok range and Zanskar range. This place boasts a unique biodiversity of
highland flora, avi-fauna and mammals. Trail through rock pinnacles,
beetling cliffs, narrow defiles, willow groves. Click and capture some
beautiful memories. If luck favors, you will spot exotic fauna like
Himalayan Blue Sheep, Ibex and snow leopard. Nightstay at camp.
Day 17 : Markha Valley- Thachungtse [4250 m]
After enjoying nutritious breakfast, walk past Markha towards Thochungtse.
After several dives you will reach close to a monastery. After crossing a
bridge you will enter Humlung. Villages of Humlung and Hankar will give you
a perfect idea of traditional Tibetan living style. Had a traditional lunch
proceed for you're the last half of the 5-6 hours trekking route of the day.
Your day's trekking finally concludes in Thochungtse. Spend the night in
your camp.
Day 18 : Thachungtse - Nimaling
[4730 m]
Shortly after breakfast you will start walking for Nimaling. Trail through
the series of grassy ridges and move towards Nimaling As you come close to
your destination you will come across chortens and walls carved with
Buddhist prayers become visible. After covering 7 km, you will reach
Nimaling. Amid the unsurpassed beauty of Nimaling valley your will spend
your night at tent.
Day 19 : Nimaling- Gya/Latho
After an early morning trekking you will reach Gya / Latho. Get your pick
up from here. From here you will undertake a road journey to Leh. Reach and
check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel
Day 20 : Your travel manager will escort you to airport from where
you will catch your flight for Delhi.

Day 01: Leh

faunas of Himalayan region. A total of 225 species of bird you can see here.
Arrive in the land of myth and legends. You will be warmly greeted by your
travel manger, on arrival. With him proceed for your pre-booked hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Leh
On the banks of the river Indus, Leh is situated a height of 11,000 feet.
Leh has quite a few amazing places for its travellers. Quickly finish your
break fast and move out with your travel guide to see this wonders. In your
city tour you will see famous places like AM Sankar, Shanti Stupa. PM Phyang
and Spituk. Return to your hotel for dinner and nightstay.
Day 03 : Leh
Today let us take you to an excursion of neighboring places of Leh. Enjoy a
full day visit Shey, Thiksey, Hemis & Stok. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Leh - Spituk- Zinchen
Have your breakfast and enjoy a jeep drive to Spituk village. Meet your
trekking guide and other crew members. From here you will trek for Zinchen
village. After 5 hours of easy walking you will reach Zinchen village.
Establish yourself at camp.
Day 05 : Zinchen - Rumbak (12,793ft/3,900m)
Rumabak valley is well known for its scenic splendor. Today Rumbak will be
your destination. Today's trekking comprises of 5 to 6 hours long gradual
climb from Zinchen and then you have to follow the trail beside the river.
This route will directly take you to Rumbak. Establish your camp at
picturesque Rumbak valley. Nightstay.
Day 06 to 08 : Rumbak Valley
Due to its proximity to the Indus River, this valley houses a number of
species of mammals, plants and avi-faunas, which are endangered. 16 mammal
species and 73 bird species are found in this area. Explore the valley
today. If you are lucky enough you can spot Snow Leopard, kiang, Tibetan
antelope etc. This place is also serves as a base camp for a number of
trekking routes.Overnight stay at camp.
Day 09 : Rumbak Valley- Shingo
Start early for the next destination. Today you will hike to Gnadla. Have
your lunch and relax. Post lunch you will enjoy an easy descent to Shingo.
This whole trekking will take around 4 to 5 hour. Nightlong stay.
Day 10 : Shingo - Skiu (3450m)
After having a heavy breakfast, start for Skiu. Cross 5 hours long trekking
trail. Following the incredible vistas you will reach Skiu. Nightstay at
Skiu.
Day 11 : Skiu (3450m) - Markha (12,797 Ft/3,878m)
Today your trekking guide will lead your way to The Markha Valley, one of
the loveliest dales of Leh. To reach this one of the biggest dale you have
to do 6 hrs trekking. Walk through woody bushes; follow the River Indus,
cross river bridges to reach your destination. Evening, visit local village,
drink local brewery and taste local cuisines. Nightstay.
Day 12 to 13 : Markha Valley
Explore Wildlife in Markha Valley with your trekking personals. Finches,
robins, redstarts, hoopoe, brown-headed Gull, brahminy duck, raven,
red-billed chough, Tibetan snow-cock, lammergeyer and the golden eagle and
chukar etc are the main highlights of this region. Spot Bharal, Urial sheep,
Ibex, snow leopards etc. Nightstay at camp.
Day 14 : Markha Valley - Thachungtse. [4250 m]
Move towards Thochungtse. After 5-6 hours of trekking you will reach
Thochungtse. Enroute see typical traditional Tibetan lifestyle while
visiting villages of Humlung and Hankar. Spend the night in your camp at
Thochungtse.
Day 15 : Thochungtse - Nimaling [4730 m]
Shortly after breakfast initiate for Nimaling. As you come close to your
destination, chortens and walls carved with Buddhist prayers will lead your
way to Nimaling. You have covered 7 Km today. Enjoy bonfire and enjoy a
starry night under the open sky at tent.
Day 16 : Nimaling- Gya/Latho- Tsokar
Finish your breakfast quickly and start trek for Gya / Latho. You will get
your pick from the road head there. Drive to Tsokar. Overnight at camp.
Day 17 : Tsokar
Because of the salt deposit around it Tsokar Lake is popularly known as
White Lake. Various kinds of Birds can be seen around the lake. Bar-headed
Goose, the great crested Grebe, the Brahmin Duck and the Brown Headed Gull
are some of the rarest species which can be found here. Overnight stay.
Day 18 : Tsokar- Tsomoriri
Morning after breakfast undertakes a jeep journey to Tsomoriri Lake. Tsokar
Lake is located roughly 45 kms northwest of the Tsomoriri Lake. Explore
wildlife around the lake. Nightlong stay.
Day 19 : Leh
After breakfast enjoy a drive of 225 Km from Tsomoriri to Leh via Mahe
Bridge. On arrival check in at your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 20 : Delhi
Get up and quickly have your breakfast your travel manger will escort you
to airport. You will catch a flight to Delhi from there.

Day 17 Gya/Latho- Pangong
A jeep will take you to Pangong. On arrival settle yourself at camp and
relax for the night.
Day 18 : Pangong
Pangong Lake is situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of
inland is bisected by the international border between India and China. Here
you will find some of the rarest species of scrub and perennial herbs. The
lake serves as an important breeding ground for a number of migratory birds.
Walk around this beautiful region. Overnight.
Day 19 : Pangong -Leh. (160 Km One Way)
Star for Leh by surface, through Changla pass. This 17,350 ft. pass is the
high third highest motorable road in the world. Reach Leh and check in at
your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 20 : Departure
Morning after having breakfast you will be transferred to airport. From
where you will fly to Delhi.
