This trek cum pleasure walk is for those who have dreamed of walking in the Himalaya but have been daunted by the idea. Here we walk a leisurely between 7-10 miles a day along bridle paths, against a vast panorama of snowy peaks and the Gentle Himalayas between meticulously terraced fields and lush forests of Ilex, Deodar and pine. The ridges give views in every direction, south to the endless silhouetted skylines of distant ranges, north to the forbidding peaks of Spiti. This programme assures you plenty of time to explore nearby villages, visit the fine Pahari style temples, or just relax and enjoy the magnificent views.
